25th Annual Conference on European Tort Law

The Institute for European Tort Law of the Austrian Academy of Sciences and the University of Graz (ETL) and the European Centre of Tort and Insurance Law (ECTIL) cordially invite you to attend the 25th Annual Conference on European Tort Law (ACET), which will be held in Vienna from 8 to 10 April 2026.

The Annual Conference on European Tort Law provides a unique opportunity for both practitioners and academics to discover the most significant tort law developments from across Europe in 2025. A Special Session is dedicated to the topic of ‘Harmonisation of Tort Law Revisited’.

As the conference celebrates its 25th anniversary,  two additional events have been scheduled: An opening lecture by Helmut Koziol on ‘Rethinking the Law of Loss Allocation’ and an Early Career Panel.
